Dealing with the Devastation of Losing a Child
Sean and Heather Ellis, founders of Promise4Hope Ministries, share their tragic story of their fourteen-year-old son, Michael, who died as a result of an ATV accident. As a result of finding for their own healing, the Ellis’ felt the need to create a ministry to help other parents and their surviving children to walk through similar devastation with God’s hope and peace.

July 4th, 2016 was the greatest storm of our life, and our family and friends were impacted greatly, but we held on to the hope we have in Jesus. From that was born Michael’s Hope 4 Him Ministries, which has grown into Promise 4 Hope Ministries. We offer free Biblically based weekend retreats for families that have experienced the loss of a child/sibling, to “connect with other families who understand their grief and to be encouraged by the hope that is promised in Jesus..”

Through weekend retreats our ministry will connect bereaved families together and encourage them in their place of emotional and spiritual need.
